It began with a lazy morning when the only inspiration one finds is slopping butter on a slice of toasted bread and calling it breakfast. That’s the kind of thing that makes miracles, surprisingly enough, but it’s also the kind of morning that calls for a little push to get a writer’s words going. All those mediocre, overdone prompts that came up on a quest for a good writing prompt on Google and other browsers are what inspired this group, and I hope that all of the other writer’s who have gone through similar happenings love this idea as much as I do.

    1. At the top menue bar of the group there is a button that says "Join Group"
    2. Click on this and make sure that on the tab bar, "Member" is selected.
    3. Hit "Submit" and you have instantly joined the group!

Anyone is welcome to become a member for whatever reason. Submitting work is optional for all members, as is reading the club’s posts or any of that. Don’t worry, taking disappointment is part of the staff’s job, so don’t feel to guilty.

Fire   The fire illuminated my face as I watched it flickering amongst the logs, glowing and burning. The heat beamed upon my body, warm with love and affection.

  The flames twirled, twisted and curled in a fiery dance. Blazing horses ran across the red plains. Phoenixes soared through the lapping inferno. Dragons rose upon the crimson waves. A story being told in every second.

  The crackling filled my ears and the burnt smell of seared lumber lingered near my nostrils.

  It smiled at me, offering me a safe and secure hearth. Its gleaming arms beckoned, presenting protection. These were the characteristics of a sheltered haven.

The Definition of Writing   I love writing. It is my passion, my obsession and my relief. It helps me pass through predicaments. It helps me pass through difficult periods.

  I can express my thoughts and feelings with no shame or worries… with no reservation or qualms.

  When I write I can transform into anything. I can fly. I can be a hero. I can be nothing and everything.

  Writing is my soul and my life. It is where I can find a peaceful sanctuary that accepts me for who I am. It is where I belong.

Lucy stared blankly at her holographic calendar that poked out of her metal wall. She remained lying on her small bed as she thought of her usual routine around the spaceship she currently resided in. As she mentally went through her checklist her mind began to drift off onto another subject. She started remembering what people thought of her on other ships. The feline was known around a great piece of the Topia galaxy for her special abilities. She had abilities that not most humans knew even existed. Lucy was also considered a hybrid to an extent. This one word of agony echoed around Lucy as she had slowly awoken. Her body was lying flatly in fetal position on the tough dirt ground before her.  The voice was unfamiliar. Her mind was fogged and her senses still unclear; She had no idea of her current whereabouts. The scenery around her was slightly uncanny and the atmosphere had felt so frigid, meanwhile surrounding her was lusciously soft green grass that had grown to almost five feet tall. Nothing added up. Downpour   I watched the rain pour down from the murky, dreary sky, waiting for my dad to come home after ten years. Even when I’m inside, the damp smell of the rain hovers mixing with the burning wood from the fireplace. I huddled tighter in my blanket. The feeling of warmth and cosiness ebbs through me.
  My eyes wandered around, staring through the window again. It fascinated me, rain, the endless cycle of Mother Nature. The droplets of water sliding down on the glass reminded me of tears trickling down on someone’s face. Just like tears, it is a clear liquid and just like tears, it causes the atmosphere to sullen. Lost and Fading   The feeling of lost when it feels like someone from my life is fading or have already disappeared is painful. I hate the feeling. It is one of the heartfelt sadness in your life.

  You will miss the smile upon the person’s face…the way their face shone through happy times and the time when you laugh with them. You will remember the blissful times spent together…close…and the times when both of you used the strongest strength in the world, love and friendship, to pull through struggles.

The Sad Tale of Y    Did you know that the letter Y used to be a different letter?  It seems strange to think there was ever a time when Y was ever something other than Y, but it it’s true. It’s a rather sad tale for Y, but one Y has learned to live with. Although Y is always shy about telling this story.
   When Y was another letter it had a different sound that sounded like “Joy.”  It’s shape was similar to X’s. Just put X’s legs on Y and you’d see what Y looked like. But alas those are gone now, leaving Y to ask “Why?” You may think that X did this to Y, but you’d be wrong. X actually had quite an intimate relationship with Y. so what happened?

I’d rather believe in something,

Rather than to believe in nothing.

Because to believe in nothing implies there is no purpose.
It implies that there is nothing below or above the earth’s surface.
It suggests that there is no advanced assistance and that our existence
Can be revoked in an instant, despite our apparent spiritual commitments.
It would mean that mankind will not be punished for all their wrong doings.
